Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition & Dietetics provides students with comprehensive knowledge in human nutrition, diet planning, and the impact of nutrition on health. The program prepares students to work as dietitians, nutritionists, or in research, focusing on promoting healthy eating habits and preventing nutritional diseases.

Principles of Human Nutrition
To provide students with a strong foundation in the principles of human nutrition, including macro and micronutrients, nutrient metabolism, and dietary requirements.

Manage Nutritional Disorders
To train students in the development and implementation of evidence-based nutrition interventions and dietary plans to promote health, prevent disease, and manage nutritional disorders.

Nutritional Status
To develop competency in assessing individuals’ nutritional status, dietary intake, and health needs.

Effective Nutrition Counseling
To foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills necessary for effective nutrition counseling and education.
