Program Description

The Doctor of Physical Therapy program is designed to train students in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of physical disabilities and disorders. The program prepares students to become expert physical therapists, equipped with the skills to improve patients' mobility and quality of life.

Comprehensive Understanding & Ethical Values
To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and to instill professionalism, ethical values, and effective communication skills essential for establishing therapeutic relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Evidence-based Physical Therapy
To train students in the implementation of evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and functional training.

Clinical Skills
To develop clinical skills in physical examination, assessment, and diagnosis of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Clinical Reasoning Skills
To foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical reasoning skills necessary for effective patient management and rehabilitation.

Covering fundamental topics in computer science, including programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, database systems, and software engineering

Elective courses

Hands-on learning experiences through programming labs, projects, internships, and industry collaborations to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems and gain practical experience.
