UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
BS (Computer Science)
Overview
The BS (Computer Science) program equips students with a rigorous foundation in programming, algorithms, systems design, and modern software engineering practices. Structured around HEC's revised Computing curriculum, the program balances core theoretical grounding — data structures, computer architecture, database systems — with hands-on project work culminating in a Final Year Project, within a standard 124-credit-hour, eight-semester structure. MUST's Computer Science students work in dedicated programming and systems labs from their first semester, building practical fluency alongside theory, and progress into specialized electives in AI, cybersecurity, and data science as the field evolves. Faculty mentorship on the Final Year Project and an emphasis on industry-relevant tools prepare graduates equally for immediate software development roles or graduate study in Pakistan or abroad.
Eligibility Criteria
- Intermediate (FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks
