POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM
M.Phil (Pharmacology)
Overview
The M.Phil (Pharmacology) program offers advanced, research-focused study of drug action, mechanisms, and therapeutic effects, building on undergraduate pharmacy or pharmacology training. The two-year, coursework-plus-thesis structure follows HEC's Graduate Education Policy, combining advanced seminars with an independent research thesis conducted under faculty supervision. Students work in MUST's pharmacology research laboratories on original investigations into drug mechanisms and safety, guided by faculty active in pharmaceutical research. This hands-on research training, rather than coursework alone, prepares graduates for roles in pharmaceutical R&D, drug safety evaluation, and academic or clinical research careers.
