UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Overview
The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is a five-year professional degree spanning animal anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and surgery across livestock, companion animal, and wildlife medicine. Aligned with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council and HEC standards, the curriculum combines rigorous foundational science with extensive clinical rotations and farm/field practicums, preparing graduates for veterinary licensure and practice. Students at Multan College of Veterinary Sciences gain hands-on experience through the university's teaching hospital and field placements across the region's agricultural and livestock sector, a particularly relevant training ground given Multan's strong farming and dairy economy. This direct exposure to both companion-animal clinical work and large-animal field practice equips graduates for veterinary roles across clinical, public health, and agricultural settings.
