UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
BS (Cyber Security)
Overview
The BS (Cyber Security) program builds core computing fundamentals before specializing in network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, and digital forensics. Following HEC's Computing curriculum, the program combines theoretical grounding in systems and networks with hands-on security labs and simulated attack-and-defense exercises across its eight-semester structure. Cyber Security students at MUST train in dedicated security labs using real penetration-testing and forensics tools, gaining practical experience identifying and responding to vulnerabilities rather than studying security theory alone. This applied, scenario-driven training prepares graduates for immediate roles protecting organizational systems and data as cyber threats continue to grow across Pakistan's digital economy.
